Florirun 09

Open to anyone and any class.

Its come time again. Some of you may remember Florirun 2008. We ran from Lowes Riverview to Orlando and met up with some guys from 8th Civic for lunch. Hard to believe its been a year and TSR is about ready to do it again for 2009. The scheduled date is 4/4/09. We will probably take pretty much the same route as last year but we are debating about going all the way to Orlando this time, although with the group we had it seemed like it was just a few minutes to Orlando but suggestions would be great. The Video I made from last year can be seen here YouTube - Speedztube's Channel. The video does not show the early part of the run because holding the camera in one hand and running some back road twisties just didnt seem right

We are not promoting any kind of racing just a bunch of people crusing together. The final route will be givin out on the day of, when we meet up @ Lowes.

OK. It's confirmed, we will not be going to Orlando this year. The final destination will be Old town Moe's.

SPONSERS: Urban Flats restaurant in Sarasota. They will give is at least 1 gift certificate, plus t-shirts and whatever else they bring

Best In Show will be getting a prize !!!!

There will be several Gift certificates, and a few surprise gifts from local donors too. Not just one certificate, as we thought.

No doubt man!

We shouldnt ride to Orlando this time, maybe make it to Old Town in Kissimmee or something.

I am not going that far this time.

Old Town is good. Plus it's on before all the parks and traffic that we got last time.

We are doing a bit more back roads too. It's early for the final route, but we will get it together on time.

Hopefully I got my new ride by then.

There are so many options out there. I am seriously considering raw muscle power that comes with the V-8s. On that area I am between a supercharged mustang, a GTO or a G8 gt(V

On the imports I am only with a GTI in mind. There are a lot more on this field but I am not a small kid by any means and the GTI have lots of rooms, plus I need back seats for when I have my kids.

We will see. I am looking at cars daily and get more confused. I just need to go and just buy one and get it over with. lol But there are so many factors. Insurance, reliably and longevity of the ride.

I'll post pics as soon as I get it. Hopefully soon.
