Clearwater, Sunshine Drag Strip (1/8th Mile Track) Wens./Fridays

Alrite so I'm posting this up for everyone who doesn't know. There is a 1/8th Mile track off Ulmerton Rd. called the Sunshine Drag Strip. SunShine Dragstrip We Make Racing Fun For Everyone!

Wensday Night --> 6pm - 11pm 20$ or so I believe to run the car as many times as you want and 12$ for spectators.

Friday Night --> Not sure on the times but I'll find out this coming Wensday when I go. They have bracket racing, not sure if any of you are familiar with that but if you are its pretty much just staying around the same time every run, you go twice and if you Qual you have a chance at competing for money so its pretty cool. I believe that night to run it does cost 30$ and spectators are still 12$.

There it is, I always go on Wensday's and get there around 9:30pm and still manage 2-3 runs easy so its a good time. Well hopefully I'll start seeing some poeple there, I actually found out about the place from a co-worker so ya....

Bump for tonite. There will be a few SRT4's and a buddy of mine has a nissan maxima, he should be there as well. Should be a great time.

Also, I think it'd be a better idea then jumping parkin lot to parkin lot gettin harrassed by cops and no one showing up because they can't find where everyone is... just a thought and you can run your car's without worrying about going to jail for a felony... there really is no down to this either way you look at it unless you cant spend less then a tank of gas to run your ride...

Hey, pale did you make it out? Didn't see any evos there. Lots of mustangs there of course, a few vettes, and other cars. Good crowd tonight.

Whats the track rules? I have only watched them and want to go and get a 1/8th timeslip. Will be my first time so im going to suck but should still be fun to practice launching. What's the time they kick you off if you don't have a cage?

Checked the website also and didn't see the test and tune day? I am guessing thats weds.
