Gville tonight was great. Probably better than ever. We had a couple runs. jspeclude was out and ran some cars and an evo and 240 ran. It was a great night. We even had to run from the 5-0's haha. These past couple of weeks have been good.

i had fun last night car was running amazing (thanks jason) i thought that mr2 on 22 pounds was going to hand me my ass but i rolled out on him (good race) the turbo del sol was moving out tooo but what happpened to the tiburon on nitrous as soon as soon as he saw me run one time he hauled ass , after all that shit talking ( i did'nt say a word) and if that was'nt the owner that team tiburon has a cheerleader and if so i will point u out when i see u , but do want to run the tib on spray , good meets gainesville i had fun

glad you had a good time. As for the tib he wanted to race you...he didnt have 93 octane in it. And he went home after the ambulance passed by. He had to work at 6 this morning, but anyways no excuses. Come next week and im sure he will run you...he even said he would put 93 in it haha. Nice talking to you though and you need to get some more ocala dudes to come up.

I heard with nitrous it was like 14.2 which is about the same as a near stock 5.0 mustang. However you should see his GTO video from the weekend, I think that GTO had him two out of the three times granted they were already moving and nitrous doesn't really help when your already in a tall gear the two times the GTO got'em. From a stop or near stop dave pulled away like a rocket but the video has music on it so its hard to say if the GTO was going for it or if it was just driving along to film him, that's why I was curious to see what it was running.

True, that doesn't mean that the GTO would have taken Dave from the line. With 100+ ponies on tap from near 0mph a nitrous shot, with traction will take most anything from a stop unless it just has a rediculous amount of power to get the car moving which would explain the way the video looks. Once the GTO is rolling at a good clip say 50-ish its got the HP and torque on tap to move out nicely as it did in the video to pull on dave however the nitrous isn't as powerful at that speed because you have to now put that power to a taller gear and it won't accellerate as quickly as it does from the shorter 1st second and 3 third gears. Which for a Prelude those would be the closest gears. So the way I'd think it would go on a true quarter mile track is that Dave's Nitrous would give him the jump from the line but by time they crossed the line the GTO would have made up the ground that was gained if everything had gone well for both drivers. So at best you have a 3000lb 2??hp 5 speed car vs. an equally heavy 3700lb 6 speed car with 400hp(2006). The 1/4 times are reasonable the GTO will get any where between a 13.5 and a 14.0 depending on the driver. And well the best I've heard so far is 14.2 so even with a bad driver it'd be an interesting race.
