it hesitates really bad when i give it gas. even when shifting it does it. someone told me it might be my fuel injectors but im not sure....

Well might be that corvette style hood Or it misses the shift knob.

that happened with my old 240.....it also sometimes smells like burning plastic or something..im still not sure with all the diff smells but ive never smelled that before. so many diff ppl have told me so many diff things and i need to know what im gonna be putting money out on lol

injectors would be a constant stumble above X amount of throttle, and even some knock.

usually when a car will start fine, but hiccups when you give it throttle but then smooths out its a timing problem, usually too much retard. but im just going for the simple things to check/fix first no sense in spending money on parts you dont need.
