LHT 4" Cold air Intake and carbon fibre shield G8

This an 09 Pontiac G8 for a Custom cold intake.We couldn't find anyone selling a G8 Cold air intake so we built one to the customers request.
Here's the stock look:


Here's the Intake we built , it's full 4" polished aluminum with a large 4" K+N filter positioned behind the lower grill.



We made the shape follow the aluminum cooling plate that was installed the same time.





Most of the intakes we've seen are not true cold air, the customer wanted to access the coolest air possible. The grill was trimmed , you can see the filter behind the drivers fog light.


The carbon fibre heat shield does a great job of keeping the hot engine bay heat for getting ingested by the intake...Plus looks cool..

We didn't take a before but 2" lowering springs were installed at the same time.

looks nice... i just did one for my car... 04 gp gtp... couldnt find an intake that suited the needs full 4" with an abaco performance 85mm mas air and a 9inch abaco performance filter...if hes looking to pick up big numbers with the g8 recomend the mas air its fully adjustable and adds between 20-40whp proven with a cai...good work...id like to get mine welded up...any idea on a close price ??? 4inch tubing one coupler to weld up ???
