NOPI/HIN LHT trip 2010

LHT Has always made a trip to the NOPI Nationals since 1995 with usually 8+ cars touring there. NOPI has been out for a couple of years so I was happy when there announced the days in Atlanta.
This time with only 2 cars (Then there were 2) Mikes S2000 CR and My S2000 I have been working on the last week and a half.
Here's the first fill up:



After building the turbo kit etc etc I only did about 1 hours worth of street tuning before hitting the dyno. Average gas mileage was 28.6mpg over the 1200 mile trip.

Once we got into Atlanta the outside temp went from 95F to around 100F ( Hot as balls!)

We have stayed here for the last 8 times going to NOPI



The next day we got up and went to the Atlanta Speedway, this is one of the fun parts entering the stadium through the tunnel.



We got pretty good parking spots, so it was time to clean the cars.

One of the best parts was driving back and forth from the Hotel to the Stadium, Mike's GPS took us on some of the best roads.





Every time I went to take a picture I was see the CR taking off in the distance. That's were the turbo comes in handy...lol

Here's a cool house we decided to do our own photo shoot....







We had a great time, apart from been super hot the weather was great. Both cars performed perfect. Even turbo'd I never once got over 195F with the AC on the whole time.
We will 100% do it again next year

damn john looks like you guys had a good time. iam glad mikes alignment was ok i was worried about it pulling for a solid 7 hour drive lol....but yeah those braided hoses and coil pack cover did come out nice. both cars look great.....but that motorcycle guy is kinda creepy
