Custom Intake manifold S2000

This manifold is for a Turbo S2000.
We started out with the factory flange and runners which are large runners to begin with but the plenum is small.

We flared the runner ready for a larger plenum.

I decided to have it powder coated wrinkle black ( Pro Coat performance)

It looks a little funky with the flash but looks better.

We're leaving early Fri am and the S2000 will be making it's first trip since been built. I dynoed it with very little time to do much driving with it so fingers crossed.

OK, Back from NOPI ( More on that in another thread)

The manifold hasn't been flow tested, The runner have been opened up and clean up some. The entry to the plenum as shown in the pictures has been flared open for a velocity stack affect and the plenum itself is around 50% larger. We have built and flow tested many intake manifold in the past and found forced induction isn't to picky on balancing the runners as much. While dynoing I did pull the plugs after the run and didn't have to adjust the fuel trim at all as the coloring was the same on all 4 plugs.

Now I wont go lying about the dyno numbers to make it look like I only ran 6 psi...lol

The car made 418whp and 282tq at 13.6psi. It was 107 degrees on the dyno when I tuned, the intake temps held at 115F which shows how well the Precision intercooler works.It uses a PTE 5865 Turbo, 3" down pipe, PTE AS600 intercooler. I tuned it using K-Kpro with ID1000 injectors. After the trip to NOPI it averaged 28.6mpg running 80mph pretty much most of the trip and ran about 150 miles around and to the stadium and back .The turbo kit will be good for around 570 to 600whp but on a bone stock motor this is fine for now.
