^^True story.. We all went to Bradenton to run the quarter mile on the friday of labor day weekend...
Results Mobius and Josh were neck and neck even when Josh was spraying a 55 shot!..
what could be the diagnosis of the neck to neck final outcome of robert and josh racing?
Josh said he had leakdown and compression testing performed and his cylinders are on point.
Josh should be spanking you Robert.

I think the reason is the Nitrous wasn't working or the bottle was empty.

I have had Nitrous before on previous cars and Josh has had Nitrous on his Si for quite sometime so the rookie mistake of the bottle being empty is not a possibility.
He was purging fine and purging strong...
My diagnosis of why he wasn't running faster.
1. Bad ZEX nitrous solenoid, not the purge solenoid.
2. Bad compression/tired K20 motor that may need overhaul
3. Maybe it needs a Retune.
4. last but not least, Driver mod lol. However Robert did drive Josh's car and still got spanked when Josh drove Roberts car.
5. Lets see John drive Josh's car down the track lol!!
Bottom line in my opinion is.. go boost, and stay away from the cheap nitrous horsepower.

Not to be a nay sayer to Jay's (Josh) tune or work done by LHT. Dyno for Dyno all motor Jay's and Robert's car are putting down almost the same numbers. I personally got to ]drive Jay's car without a warm up run and pulled a 14.7 with no practice. I believe I could get his car 14.5 all motor with a decent run. Driver skill has a part in this however on the flip side. Robert ran a 14.2 all motor so I can not explain it. Search youtube for civic's with the same mods and they are putting down the same numbers so IDK. I would not be quick to blame the motor or lack of power.

^^what up jimmy^^good to see you at the track on Friday..
motor to motor robert and josh's cars are putting down equivalent numbers..
What josh is concerned about is why is robert still beating him even though he is spraying a 55 shot?

Thanks man. It was good to meet you all as well. Robert mentioned that he is converted to E85 and I am not 100% sure but E85 does have a higher octaine rating than normal gas. He pulled a best time of 14.2 and Jay pulled a best time of 14.4 almost 14.3 with me in the car which accounts for 2 tents right there. I beleive it has to do with the Nitrous setup. Something is a miss there for sure. It took a fill 2 seconds before we got a solid white (clean) purge out of the line.
I believe the cars are about dead even in all motor performance. Just the expectation that Jay's car would be blazing faster on a 55 shot was a let down. In reality a 55 shot is such a tiny shot IMO.

Another element that I also want to note is that Jay hot lapped his car almost the whole time while robert took the smart idea to run one every 20 min or so.
Heat Soak = FAIL

Where is that dyno located?
It appears to be in someone's backyard.

Well after seeing Josh's time slips we saw the car running 102mph+ on the juice, this is full 10mph more than without. This shows the Juice is working fine, the 60' times at 2.6-2.7 show it's a full 1/2 second slower than Robert. That is huge.
It takes a lot of practice to be a good racer, the RT , 60' and 330' for NA FWD is pretty much the whole race. Maybe let Niel Sutton drive the car ( A very good racer) and see it's potential.
On a side note, I once Dyno'd an S2000 on Fordspeeds dyno 2 days after on Race Related's dyno it was exactly 7whp lower. Again, a dyno is a tuning tool, not all dynos read the same.www.lhtperformance.net.
