LHT john and the gangs opinion

What's your opinion on the edelbrock IAS shock technology? They make a adjustable kit with eibach springs and have a patented inertia system , that softens on the bumps and hardens on the stiffer flatter surfaces via some oil 'thingy' valve, I wanna keep daily comfort but with added cornering stability. Have you used the shock/coilover kits at all? What's your experience with them. They actually make kits for the integras/civics/del sols.

I have never tried it on Honda's but I remember some customers that wasn't too impressed with them on domestics. I think there complaint was it didn't react fast enough and would stay very firm way after the bumps.

For an inexpesive option I still like Ground Control springs with KYB AGX shocks, they ride great if you get the right spring rate for your car. Most sell one spring to fit all cars which are usually too stiff.

yeah good point I was wondering how the shock would react to quickly changing terrain from smooth to bumpy and back again.Especially if one was at a reasonably faster speed. It just doesn't seem like the oil could change stiffness levels quickly enough to make a difference. I'll go with the set-up you recommened and have you install them. Unfortuneatley just got a pink slip from my job , so I;m back on the job hunt. 17 years service..gee thanks allot, anyways, your the best see you in the future for a swap/turbo and shock kit.
I could do it all right now today , but I'd be broke with a badass car. Heh maybe I'll sleep in it .
