OT:why every tuner has a turbo without ac?
I come accross many cars for sale with turbo kits added to NA engines. The most common theme is 90% of them have the AC removed. I understand if your building for a track racer , but a daily driver IMO really benefits from AC (especially in Florida where I live), and power steering.
That's what I love about the devotion of the guys at LHT , to really concentrate on making a high quality turbo'd car with all the amenities of a daily driver like AC and power steering.
I think that's what certainly sets LHT apart from the other shops out and I can't recall seeing a better ,cleaner install in other builds.
Why is it so hard (if it is?) to install a turbo with AC?
And why do so many people choose to rip it out? (Even in south Florida! yikes!)
I can understand if you live in a Northern State that doesn't see too many hot summmers, but in the creamy ,thick, humid air of the south I can't fathom driving a turbo'd car without AC.
Sorry if my post is too commentary and I certainly understand if LHT wants to delete it. I just feel its important to note what is one of the factors setting LHT from the rest of the pack is a emphasis on reliability and comforts of a daily driver .
The old addage you get what you pay for ,certainly fits here, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better build for the same price, unless your a wrencher yourself.
Ok I'll get off my soapbox for now, but those of you on the fence about getting a turbo install , you'd be wise to go with LHT.

I have been beating that drum for a long time. One of the reasons I made so much power with my Type R was to show you can have all options , gas mileage and gobs of power. You don't have to chop the car up.
I don't want to upset anyone but alot folks want to build there cars and keep it as cheap as possible, Rather than planning a build they simply by parts that are shiney and cheap. We see so many guys building turbo Hondas and end up spending twice the money and waste more time trying to figure out problems than to have done it right the first time.
I used to roll around in a CRX and didn't care for AC as long as it was quick, Now I would drive it if it didn't have cold AC. I don't care if it's making 1000hp, sitting in traffic sweating, trying to convince your Girl that you driving a sports car, just doesn't cut anymore.
We at LHT believe ,You can have your cake and eat it too!www.lhtperformance.net.
