Price for a P28 mine is dying
Need a price for a P28 ECU with socket installed. I think mine is going bad. Here's the problem. The car will start cold every time, after it warms up it may not start again. You have to wait until it cools down. Now the real kicker, when it won't start, you can push start it every time and it's easy to "light off". If I'm lucking to get it started warm it seems to hesitate at low speed, it's like the fuel or ignition is being suppressed. The car runs but bogs for 2-3 seconds then picks back up as normal. Low speed only, 5-10 mph. No CEL which indicates no monitored circuit. You put a socket in this one for me a year or so ago and I'm running a S100 system.

I've never heard that problem been caused by a bad ecu, that sounds strange.

John you are the MAN! That's why everyone comes to you for answers, you know your Honda's. It was a grounding problem, thanks. I also reset the TPS to .65 but it did not like that at all! It would die when I stopped at red lights. So the next day I reset it to .5 and it runs like a champ. I'm in work on putting in a complete ground loop, hopefully this will cure any future ground issues. Thanks again, you are the GURU!
