2.5" is perfect for a vtec DOHC motor,That's why we stock tons for 2.5" piping, mufflers, flanges etc. 2.25" would be more suited for a SOHC less than 2.0L.

i felt obligated to mention that MrLHT has exceptional service and know-how. my new aluminum exhaust is just perfect and it's my fav mod on the car (along with the seats)!
can't wait to get that custom header and high flow cat soon!
who knows, maybe we'll talk kpro and cams later too.
