1997 Civic EX LHT 2001 GSR swap
This is an example of what an LHT swap looks like. The old motor was removed and a 2001 GSR complete motor is installed. The AC and power steering are retained for a 100% OEM feel.
As part of the install a LHT Intake , header and Custom exhaust went into the swap. The pictures speak for them selves. Before: ![]() After : ![]() ![]() LHT Stealth exhaust:

Yes, indeed the pictures do speak for themselves but the car just looks awesome when you see in person. I picked the car up yesterday and was amazed. John @ LHT did an excellent job on the swap. LHT went way beyond what I expected. The engine runs stong and the custom exhaust sounds awesome. I'm already getting compliments on it.
Getting the swap done at LHT was definitely a good decision. John answered all of my questions and explained everything that was going to be done. When I went by the shop, John showed my around the shop and I saw first hand the good work they do. John is just an honest, friendly and straightforward guy. I had no worries or concerns when dealing with John. So, a BIG thanks to John and everyone else at LHT. If you need your car worked on, go to LHT...especially if you want a custom exhaust. LHT will be doing all of my car work in the future. Thanks again John. |
