Where ?? I don't even see the schedule for LMP anymore

the race is at lakeland. there was flyers passed out at tnt
sat night.man was that placed packed!!!!!!wall to wall imports.
i made 2 passes than got outa there.took an hr to get 2nd pass in.

Hey Guys,

You should look over that flyer again . At the bottom right it says "Imports Welcome" This is just an all out grudge race, it will not matter who shows up. V8, weed eater, or a geo metro. They will all run.

Another thing to notice is it does say "Last man standing takes all " but all of what? 100%, 50%, etc.

While I am pulling this apart I want all of you V8 guys to know that the promotor (JT Promotions) is a slimeball. He does a lot of import events in the area, and everyone is plagued with problems such as racers NOT getting paid.

Thanks for posting the flyer I was planning on running the funny car at that event, but now I'm not so sure.... it definitely lost a lot of its appeal, after reading the 'fine print' IE: JT, imports, $50 racer fee, $20 per crew-member

To many questions left unanswered on the flier. I mean really what is the winner taking? Knowing how he (JT) has operated in the past there will be 100 cars that show up and he will give 10 percent of the tech card to the drivers as payouts.

I have never heard anything good coming out of any of his events

about the promoter myself....all i know is i just wanna race besides tnt.
i do know that when s/pro ,,q-16 ran we didnt exclude any engine type !!!
i also know this , the past cpl wks the imports have not been there on sat nights.
i have been over there,so im not speaking out of my ass.but i must say sat nite they
being imports showed ther support..but what about the other three wks outta the month?it should be who ever shows up races....... Robert

I was also at the "import" night on Saturday. The event was put on by a group called JDMups. They are well organized and do many events throughout the year. It seems they have a pretty good following behind them. It was also heavily promoted all over the darn place for months.

These are not the same people that are promoting the Grudge event.

I did not bring up any of this stuff to crap on lakeland, just to make people aware of what to expect with this guy that is putting on the events
