Getting Ready to race
Some of you that go to Lakeland often have seen me test and tuning my mustang now for the last few months. I finally got it fairly tuned and finally got some new slicks on it. My old slicks only had a few runs on them but had sat for the last three years while my new engine was being put together and I converted the body from a coupe into a fastback. I haven't painted it yet (primered grey) as it still needs alot of body massaging on all the new fiberglass and metal panels. I don't need no stinkin paint to run!!!
I plan to test for the last time this weekend at Lakeland and then will install my trans brake and shift selenoid to go after the bucks!
It's Running fairly consistant now but hope the brake and shift selenoid will make it deadly.
We'll see, come on out and join the fun.

Thanks Backmotor. I've stuck with this car for the last 25 years. It has gone thru 4 makeovers and one big wreck at Columbus Ohio in 2000. The last few years I was building a new engine and giving it a body change with mostly fiberglass parts. I'm on a budget and unfortunately the race car budget is last on the list.
Anyway. I've seen you at LMSP and will stop by and say hello the next time I see you there. Take care and "keep the shiny side up" on that corvette.
