I'd like to welcome everyone to the Lakeland Motorsports Park forum, the idea behind this is to be able to advertise our events, keep everyone updated with changes going on at the track, and have a medium to discuss with our customers any issues they may have.

There will be no bashing going on in this forum, period. If you have a problem or concern and think it could be considered bashing then it needs to go to PM. I welcome change and addressing issues that may exist, so if you have something to offer up then lets hear it.

I'd like to run my car at LMP on Thursday evening, 1 October, if the strip will be open for test-n-tune:

I Have A Questuin Why Is It All The Cars That Come Out To Lkld Motorsports Park Week End And Week Out Run The Crap Out Of There Cars And Never Race????????????????/ That Why There Called Cars I Guessnot Race Cars And Do Not Come Back With I Race Else Where Because I Do .and Guesswhat I Never See Any Of You Anywhere Else Except Doing The Same Thing The Only Reason I Bring This Up Is For Most Race Tracks To Suceed And Prosper They Need People To Come And People Do Not. Come To Watch Test And Tune And The Really Crazy Thing Is It Does Not Cost That Much More To Race And If You Lose You Still Can Test And Tune At Lkld The Only Track That Allows Testing Between Rounds That I Know Of Q16 ---bracket Race Lets Call Them Race Cars And Race And We Could Have Both Who Else Is With Me Or Is It Going Always Be The Same Old #$@$%%$

That's because there is no chance of losing when you just T-N-T. How is that Q-16 working out? I heard there was only 9 cars for it on the 21st so there run a quick 8 and cut the pay out. That will draw cars for sure (cutting the pay out). I just dont understand why a track would change a program that was starting to work and get more cars. And going to something that they have tried before and just didnt work. It all ways starts off go and then the fast cars start breaking and you have delays for clean ups and thats what drives away the fans. The fast cars can't make it in the heads up classes try to get the bracket race changed to meet there cars needs ( pro tree, having to qualify to get to race).The whole pro tree bracket race thing is to much of a hassle you have cars that are going deep leaving the other guy hanging out waiting for him to stage this causes issues. i think that they think by having a pro tree that it will keep the same people from winning but that's not true the same people will still win. The first two races have the same results two slow bracket cars where in the finals.

You Are Right J259 Yes I Know Who You Are But The Tree Is Not The Problem It Never Has Been Either You Are Racer Or You Are A Test & Tuner Slow Or Fast Car The Only Reason A Lot More Slow Cars Win At Lkld Is Because Theres Always More Slower Cars Than Fast Ones I Like Both Formats And Have One At Both Just Like You But One Thing I Do Know Why Spend All That Time And Money To Bench Race You Can Not Win If You Do Not Race And You & Me And All The Racers That Win Have Lost More Than We Have Won If I Am Wrong Tell Me///////// But You Got To Start Before You Can Finish......................................

i like going to lakeland whenever there is a import race the track works.the only problem i have is no safty crew!!!!

What is the pay out on Q8-Q16 ??? Is the race open to all race cars and what is the scheduled dates??? what happens if don't make the show???

JR I won the Q16 the weekend before the Orlando night of fire. I dialed 6.20's you call that slow bracket car. thats still 1/2 second faster than your RACE car.
