A fast bracket car is 5.50's. Your car is a bracket car. Not a what to be Pro Mod like the ones that where crying for the Q-16. That have not showed up since the frist race. You know the ones that have to be towed back to the pitts after a run that are leaking all night long and final breaking the frist round and oiling down the track and we have to sit and wait for a two hour clean up and the track is never right the rest of the night. These are the same guys that cry about the track being bad when the real reason the track goes away is because some one has been leaking all night. And then one of them breaks and leak all over the track hell they are loaded up and gone home before the track is even clean.

Any race car can break! Fast, slow it doesn't matter. Oil downs are going to happen. The problem is the lack of equipment to clean it up. It's not fair to blame you know who, cause his car leaked oil on the track and it took a couple of hours to clean it up with mops. The track personel do everything day can to clean it up but they can only work so fast with what they got to work with. You and anyone else that has been going to LMSP for a while knows that and accepts that when we go there. It's just the way it is for now. I live close by and appreciate the track and wish things were done differently sometimes but support it anyway by either running my car there, test and tune, racing or just spectating. If we keep complaining and don't support the track we may loose it and I don't think anyone of us wants that. No flame intended. George

Copy that I here you on that issue. The test and tune should not be during eliminations because like you said they are the ones with the junk that is leaking and or breaking when we are racing. heck for a few more bucks why not race it after having to load the car up and drive to the track.

I agree with you on the T/T running in between rounds. Not good for the racers and slows the race down somewhat. I guess the reson for it is to keep the T/T people happy/coming back (revenue without payout) and to keep cars going down the track for the spectators (more revenue without payout) and on cold days maybe keeping a little heat in the track. It never use to be that way when the race fields were larger. I guess if the race car fields got bigger the T/T in between rounds would be done away with. It's just stuffing for a thin program. They do what they have to, to make a buck/stay in business. Do you blame them?

I raced there for ten years. Saw Q16 come and go. saw bracket racing come and go also. they use to have street, superpro and Q16. raced in all of them,I had the green and yellow 64 chevy pickup. I sometimes made the Q16 field sometimes didn't my truck went 6.0's to 6.20's. won a few to. Scatered a few engines allover the track, some tranies and 2 rear ends.SO WHAT!! I CALL THAT RACING!!! If you want to race thats what happens. If you don,t like the way they run on sat. then test your JUNK ON THURSDAY!!! just my 2 cents. By the way I live in N.C. now and most of you cry babies couldn't hang with these guys up here, they got 4 sec. footbreak cars.

I agree JDG. You know, all the complaining and eventually bad mouthing Roy himself is what closed down the last forum that LMSP had. I've beg and pleaded with Patrick and he finally opened up this one. I told him that it would be a good menu for racers to be able to comunicate with each other and would also be good for business. I'm starting to beleive I made a mistake. instead of comunicating about the races and aour cars most of what I read is people complaining about the way the races are held, track conditions and it won't be long until the track personel and Roy himself will be the topic of complaints. When that happens, you can bet yhis forum will be shut down. Please guys, one thing is to give your point of view and another is to whine and complaint. Lets not have whinning and complaining. If you don't like something about the track or it's program, just suggest solutions. I'm sure Patrick reads this forum and I'm sure he discusses it with Roy. Lets use this forum to inform each other on events and the results of those events as well as your personal struggles and triumphs with your race car or other projects that you may have going on. Let the track personel run the track. They have enough to deal with. I'm sure they want you to attend and participate but if you are not happy with their program they won't stop you from going somewhere else. When I see Patrick again, I'll ask him to consider running the Q-16 once a month and as and when the field gets bigger to increase the number of races per month. Hows that for negotiation? He may do it. Who knows? Now, why cant we all get along? Where's the love?

I here you! I want to say to all the people that say that they can't get their car to hook at LMSP, TUNE YOUR CAR!!! Thats what those Knobs are for on your shocks!!! the ones that win all the time got their cars set up right. When I biult my truck I set it up to run LMSP. whent out there the the first time. when it left the line it whent left a little bit, ajusted the top 4 link bar pass. side one flat and it went strait down the track. OH and by the way my junk ran the same ET's at every other track I raced at.
And I raced all over the south east with it. so don't bitch about the track if you can't or wont tune your car to the conditions! just sayin.
