how do i deal with knots that i find wayyy back in the pattern??

im almost done with this 6' x 4' double stitched twin wall quilt, and i found a 'boo boo' way back in the beginning? any ways to cover this up?

Unfortunatly you really can't do much to correct the problem. The best bet is to carefully cut out the knot and tie it off, then do a cover stitch of some sort to hide it.
