Shodan wouldn't a 6262 be a better turbo for him. not smashing this turbo cause its deff doing its job and making good power.

Don't know why my post was deleted, but I guess that's up to the Moderator gods. There was no ill-intent, just additional information
In answer to your question, the upgrade available to Malcolm's current turbo uses a 62.2mm compressor wheel with a different design than the precision one uses. I know that the 6262 is the current bandwagon of turbos to use, and not bashing Precision at all, but his exhaust wheel is perfectly fine (71mm) the same size used on the 6262. I think that the 6262 can work for him, I just have certain concerns with the bearing system that is used based upon malcolm's "abusive" driving habits. That's why so far its lasted him. Why purchase an entirely new turbocharger, when an upgrade to what he has currently is available?Last edited by The Shodan; 02-27-2011 at 12:28 PM.

Yeah, I could see that.. That wasn't my intent, seemed to come on kinda stong, I'll admit. I'll get more "objective" photos together here to show the differences. Those that know me on other forums understand I don't like to come in with some suit on just "splashing" stuff around. But Malcolm is using the turbo I created for him, I just know people like to have a little more information when they can and not just dyno graphs.
If the Moderator gods allow me, I'll be more subtle if people have questions."Just because it has a divided housing does not make it a damn "Twin Scroll". People need to quit using buzz words they don't understand" -John Roben, Project Manager of Honeywell R&D
