Eddie's lexus sc300 2jz-gte swap!

Eddie first contacted us awhile back when He was interested in doing a 1jz swap, He later decided a 2jz swap would be a better fit for what he wanted.

Eddie is a apache helicopter mechanic that's currently serving our country in Iraq and very pleasant individual to do business with so we are excited to provide our services to him. This situation is also a very unique one based on the fact that we'll be doing this swap for him and never had the pleasure of meeting him, he will be sending the vehicle down from Atlanta Georgia to perform the swap!

So the setup He request was:

-Stock 2jz-gte aristo swap
-Greddy bcc
-turbo timer
-freer flowing exhaust
-front mount intercooler w/ hard piping

And a host of other goodies that you'll have to stay tuned to find out about!



A engine only swap was purchased, So we sourced a transmission locally for the project.

The aristo transmission awaits the arrival of the car & engine it will get mated to:

So part of the swap involved taking the 97 sc300 engine, And placing it in A 94 gs300 that Eddie also brought down seeing that the 97 engine is low mileage. (80k)sc vs (232k)gs.

So we began removing the sc engine first..























Okay so with that complete onto the gs.......







Now they're side-by-side getting harness, mounts, front/rear sumps,tranny, bunch of obd1/2 etc. etc. swapped out.

Well the gs300 was successfully completed and driven back to Atlanta,GA. without any issues , So now we can move forward with the SC!!! Now The Real Fun Begins!!!!
