Default Barry's CBR F4-I swingarm modification

So the customer brought in a his cbr, He had his swingarm extended by some guy (actually did a good job) but they failed to add in the slot bracket that hold the rear caliper in place.

Of-course this was safety issue, because he had no use of the rear brake & it was tearing apart the swingarm.... anyways

Started by cutting up some scrap aluminiun // placed the caliper only in position for measurements // prepped the surface for welding // welded the two plates together on the bench // tacked them on the swingarm // confirmed fitment // then welded it onto the swingarm.

Before:

Measuring:

Cleaned the area after measurments:

The material used:

Plates welded:

Welded onto swing arm:

Everything mounted works great!
