Rare

Hopefully this is the right section to post, but yesterday night my dad and I went to pick up my cousins 97 Accord Special Edition. Now I've always loved the racing scene, but sadly never got the chance to go to a real race out here in the Bay Area. In NYC when I was younger my cousin would take me, but I don't remember much. It's my first car, and I'm hoping to do a lot with it. So far I know it's got an F22B2 engine, fully stocked and it's an automatic. Visually I don't like touching the car to much, except for maybe purchasing a set of light set rims for it to make it more appealing and restoring the original paint job. I'm more for going performance, sadly I've never worked with cars besides what my dad has taught about basic tune ups, tire changes, brake changes, etc. The battery is dead, which my dad has a spare and is planning on putting it in later on this week. So far i've been searching online, and debating whether a tranny swap to manual is worth it, along with a couple of my friends saying switch to a k20a or h22a engine. Any help is appreciated, or guidance in the right direction for someone new to this like me. Thanks!
