Here is the deal. Honda is complex. They have long time fans, like myself and they have long time non-tuner fans. To come out with a game changer they have to balance with what their fans want while also attracting new drivers.
The CRZ is an example of that. They tried to keep the long time fans of the CRX but attract the new fans by making it a hybrid. Is it no surprise the CRZ is having problems in the marketplace. That is the most difficult line they could try to walk.if you can only race me in a straight line then whats the point

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.– the late Tom Thrash SCCA Solo E Production

You must be young!
Atari is the OG. The real deal and it's an American company. Everyone else is just an imitation.
Edit: To answer your question. Everyone and everything evolves. You can't have the same thing for decades and expect everyone to like it. Plus it's a new age and generation of buyers. So Honda will adapt to what the people want ,what they think the people want, or what they want the people to want.Last edited by CoRDiTe; 09-13-2011 at 06:19 PM.
