D16z6 turbo
Hi TR, I was looking to do a very basic turbo setup on my d series. Stock internals, head gasket, head studs. Dont want to do eBay kit. If I piece together a kit what parts/brands are best. Was only planning on running 6 lbs. Like what size injectors, log/tubular mani, ecu, size turbo etc. Can the stock internals handle 6lbs with no problems? Thanks

No body's jumping in on this one.... LOL
Your best source of info is to prowl the inet.
Everyone has opinions. Collecting random parts is the hard way to go
unless you are already good at it.
No matter what they say about it being plug and play and "bolt-on"
it is NEVER that way. There is always some fitting to be done.
A kit designed for that engine will save a lot of headaches.
I would be reluctant to turbo a car unless I had new bearings and
stronger rods. It's cheaper than blowing it up and doing it again.
It will need to be tuned so that you don't let it ever get leaned out.
Don't go into boost until you get it tuned.-Bob---- on-site *Aftermarket* spring/suspension installations --- on-site impact wrenching---street lowering with your own stock springs...........
