TYPE R HYDRO TRANNY INTO EF HATCH???? what i need??
im getting my tax return back soon and i want to get a type r lsd tranny for my ef hatch. i have a LS cable tranny now. im either gunna lsd my cable tranny or convert the whole thing i just wanna know how much its gunna cost me if i go hydro.
what all is required for the conversion. i know ima need the cable to hydro conversion thing and a slave cylinder.
will my ls axles need to be replaced for type-r?
what halfshaft will be needed?
i know i need a diff clutch disc
are all b-series starters the same or do i need a type r?
do i use the same tranny mount or i need a new one to convert?
anything else im missing?Last edited by 2qk4u; 02-02-2012 at 10:37 PM.

You don't need a slave cylinder, your axles and half shaft will work you might need a new clutch depending on the year of your trans.....I would just get a new clutch anyway. Your starter will work. Your will need a new trans mount

If you use a cable to hydro conversion you still wont need a clutch master. The kit uses the cable to depress the clutch
