high idle? please help
I had a leak at my distributor external o-ring, replaced it and no more leak. I had marked my distributor/head for timing and bolted back up. Seems like my idle is high. It was at 1000 after warming, so i loosened dizzy bolts and retarded the dizzy and now its at 800 warm. Is that too high? It actually responds MUCH better, but heard bad idle could affect VTEC which it hasnt so far. ....i realized you can move the bottom 2 dizzy bolts even with top mark lined up. please help. Dont want to f--- up my motor

the idle has nothing to do with your vtec. you can always adjust the screw on the throttle body to adjust the idle if your unhappy with it
