98 Honda Civic DX (Vandelized - Fixing now)

So my car was broke into, fixing the pieces now.

Main obstacle is finding an affordable ignition.

I believe my ignition was popped.

Is this difficult to replace? I know I can google it, but I had a toolbox stolen with whatever tools I had. So now I have to start over again, just wasting money. How hard is it to replace the Ignition and how can I tell if THAT is the issue or not?

When i put the car into aux i hear the beeps etc, when i go to start it the key becomes "loose" and nothing happens. Any ideas? Need this fixed ASAP!
