?b16 tranny in a auto teg?
Hi, i have a 94 rs integra, and i was wanting to do a 5speed swap.
Looks like the best b-series tranny would be the b16 tranny, and i wanna know what i need to do to get this done with all things done right..
Plus, what kinda money am i looking for labor for this swap?
Any info would be much appreciated..
Honda-tech didnt give me any help really...
after this swap, i wanna do a b16 head as well

Hey what up....I used to have a 93 and i did a b16 tranny swap in a garage with some friends but nways make sure you have a ball joint separator it will help you to take of the shocks cuz u gotta take both axles out including shocks and everything and make sure you have sockets of many sizes to unbolt tranny, mounts, starters etc...hope this helps you out.

First off b16 on a ls is a no no .. at least i would not do it, they are geared too short.. if i was doing the swap i would be looking for a gsr lsd.. that should make it a bit more fun and challenging..
As far as the ecu goes, all you need is a ls manual ecu and you will be fine or chip the one you have now.. ether option is ok, but its best to go chipped and tuned for best results..
as far as the tranny goes, any hydro b series tranny will fit from 92-00..
so start swapping that teg man.. good luck..
