^^^ he may speak the truth but the whole point of us doing this is so WE can do this build! and i'll keep this thread updated as to what we plan on doing.
right now the plan is
D16z6 OBD0 engine
CP 9.2:1 Pistons
Eagle H-Beam rods
ACL race bearings
we're getting CFT to build the motor, and we'll drop it in
rx7speed_69 wants to go with a P28 ECU and get it rechipped with Hondata s300 (conversion harness)
Turbo is a Garret built T3/T4 T57 trim with a .48 A/R
with Full Race ramhorn manifold and down pipe
Full Race intercooler
RC injectors (don't know the size yet)

LMFAO you guys are wasting your time and money on a shitty single cam, You could get a b series motor and make more power then you can with this setup you have planed. I highly doubt you guys are gonna make 400+ hp and the motor last for a long time. I bet CFT is gonna rape you on the engine build price, Im not hating but just being real with you guys. But good luck with the engine build.

We know that the b series motor can get more power but a SOHC can handle 400+HP with no problem trust me i have talked to Pro Builders that have owned a 400whp SOHC Honda. Now im not saying i would like 800hp out of the SOHC im only going for 400hp. My car weights under 2000lbs why would i want to anything more then 400whp plus everyone like dc2_boostking said every honda is running a b series. Just ask any True SOHC driver they would never trade there SOHC for a b series motor. Not trying to piss yall off about it but i have set my mind and IM DOING A D16Z6 TURBO.
Never done down some one for not build what u think its good just respect them for the work they have done
(ME)yea thats the right kite

all d-series should be the same

so just call them and tell them what you need
hahahaha that better not be the right "kite"
i'm building a motor and your flying a damn kite?!

I respect you sticking with what you have planned, I was just trying to help you maybe go with a better setup for your power goals.

yeah thanx for telling us about that site, there's alot of good info on there. me and rx7speed_69 have both rocked the b-series, i'm building a boosted LS right now for my teg, and he's had a b16 crx before. we just want to try something different. and as for the build we are trying to over build it that way we have a solid safety cushion for anything "bad" that could happen.
i'll post a build thread when we start on the build page. right now we're just waiting for rx7speed_69 to get this high paying job lol.
and we're no longer going with the Full Race manifold because they only make the gay v-bands ones. he's looking into a few others right now and we may also have a lead on the turbo, which is a Garret.CRAWFORD BUILT
