So I bought another Civic project / Daily driver

Hi all just picked up this beast yesterday (10-06-08.) Got it for 400.00 running driving..

Sadly another auto tragic Civic.... and it has allot of miles 188,xxx but still sounds good and the tranny shifts fine.

Drove it home from bartow. I know it needs some love... doesnt look to bad..

its got a few things wrong with it.. needs a driver cv axle.. and new brakes and rotors.

I just bought another rear bumper for it. and started working on the hood. bought that rust to primer spray. then sanded it wet with 1500 grit then 2000..

Need to replace the ac condensor. I needs the AC!!! to hot in florida.


looking for some ideas on what to do with her..

uhhhh... cheap.. and the condensor is free from a buddy.. so i will have Ac in it tomorrow..

I also bought it so I dont have to ride the Heal Toe express while im converting my Ek hatch to a 5-speed and swaping it..

ideas:

paint hood black
lower her (ebay coilovers)
replace rear bumper
replace front bumper with a coupe front bumper
tint
simple rims

she'll look nice

keep it cheap!! lol super cheap not gonna track her and shes slow, make it look a little nicer

or send my advice to hell. let the flaming begin!

already have the new... well better condition rear bumper.

i kinda like the 4dr front bumper.... thinking about getting a simple lip.

my buddy has some lowering springs so i will go look at those..

also thinking of some OEM rims.. nothing to crazy..

oh and im going to replace the front seats with my stock Ek hatch seats... they are much more comfy..

yeah this one has the power windows and they all shockingly work.. just a little slow.. but clear silicone lube will fix that..

did you put a sunroof in it???


i want to put fogs in... but i dont want to get rid of the 4dr bumper... everyone gets rid of them.. maybe retro fit some 96-98 ek yellow fogs onto it.

no hatch thats th kids couple over from me,the apartments suck i just needed a place fast after broke up with my girl,but the livings rooms are hugh....as for your project you can make a eg 4door look so nice and the girls love them,i still have all the stuff to make yours a 5speed if you need to
