...sucker tried to play me but you never paid me lol
![]() anyway i was at one of my car club meetings last night and we just got two new members that are really gear head, i mean mad scientist, i told them that i was building a motor while i wait to get my shell. i told them it was an SI motor and they scoffed??!?!? the said SI's are cool but if i did the LS VTEC that i'd be alot happier. the said with the SI i'd need a rolling start and with LS-V i'd be able to handle a dig.....word??? lol what does TR think, help me out cuz i was gonna buy a SI block |

why would u do that? a b16 head would yield a higher comp than just sticking to a gsr head.
and if u wanted turbo i would just do a LS block with upgraded LS internals other than the water an oil pump in favor for the vtec compnents and gsr head for lower comp and more volume. with upgraded valvetrain. just my $.02 |

People make 700-800 whp out of b16's. It just requires more boost to reach that level versus the biGger motors
