Crower 62402T vs Crower 62404 Dyno Comparison
We tuned a nice LS setup on Sunoco Maximal. First time in it made 450whp @ 28lbs/29lbs. Felt like something was holding it back. Both in vacuum and in boost. Took the Crower 62402-T cams out. Replaced them with Crower 62404 cams. Also added a 3" -> 4" downpipe. First pull it made 404whp @ 15lbs/16lbs. 470whp @ 19lbs/20lbs. 520whp @ 27lbs/28lbs but blew the intercooler piping off. With the larger 404's the car made this power with three degrees less timing than the 402T's. Made some changes to the intercooler piping. Going to dyno again Monday or Tuesday

Alpha those 404s are awesomeman, ihave them in a customers car, and at 15-16psi made 390 stock bottom end, were runnin about 20psi on itnow, cams feel like there is vtec in an LS, haha

The 404's are the only aftermarket cams we recommend. We've used them in mild setups as well. They do well. The 62402T were horrible in this setup. From partial throttle to full throttle
Could have been the rev limiter

rev limiter? look at how the powerband climbs, then levels off for about 25mph...that's not the rev limiter, that's either the cams needing some adjustment or the turbo running out of breath, but IMO it should be climbing more still after that.
