New CRX?

That is just an Insight with a body kit (nice though). There is talk of plans to make a new CRX. Base model calls for electric hybrid for gas mileage, but the sport version will have the K series engine found in the new Civic Si hatchback. Big deal right, well the car is supposed to be well under 2000lbs. and shooting for mid 14 second quarter mile passes. This is all rumors I've heard for several websites and forums.

I've also been thinking, if they make this car, a K20 series engine is a swapable option. Can you image a K20 series in a sub 2000lbs car. Front wheel drive Lotus.

it does definetly look like a Crx, but it also looks like the insight without wheel covers in the rear.

actually....ive heard rumors that there will be another CRX...ive seen other portotype designs and what not...there have been a lot of different rumors and all....i used to have a link on my old computer that had all the info that i am talking about but im not sure...the insight is built on the CRX chassis just new style body designs...if honda dropped a k20 series moter in it...it would be ungodly fast....maybe even able to run with the s2000.....it would sure as hell be faster then a ITR...but this is just my .02

I work at Honda up north here in MI there is a truck coming out in late may or early june that I have been told about but nothing about the crx thatd be diff if they do come out with it ill let u know if I find out anymore
