WTB 99/00 EK manual steering reack. ASAP!!

whats up everyone? Finally out in texas pursuing my dream of attending John Hennessey's Tuner school. we have a Class build going on rightnow, Building a 1999 EK SI. low comp turbo build . My teacher asked me to find us a manual steering rack for the car and i figured I'd give TR a chance the help out on the build. looking for a rack in good condition, need it ASAP the school with pay for the product and shipping i know it's a bit far but i also know you all would be able to help out quick. I think they only make the powers steering racks new now.

Why not convert the rack?

I have an eg one, but you need new tie rod ends for sure. Idk about the condition of the rest, I pulled it off my buddies stripped car.

School doesnt want it new u would think with all the moey they have it wouldn't be a problem but it is. U can still get them but they go for like 4 bills still. I said we could just loop it but they don't want to do it that way. So we r looking for a used one. They left it up to me because im the only honda guy in the class so im just doing what they ask, need to get those brownie points .

psh good luck. i looked for 6 months and finally found one. i have one but the "gear" in side is bent frm my accident. you can rebuild it though. bout 170 bucks for the new part. then what ever else to rebuild it to new. try honda marketplace
