mod app
Age:
19
Car:
95 bmw m3, 2011 honda ruckus, 00 Montero sport
Forums you would like to moderate
Honda/Acura fs , Cars fs/wanted, pit road
Or where ever is needed.
Specific car knowlege:
Been in the honda game for about 5 years now, also have had my share in Nissan's. Have had my share of doing motor swaps & more. Also have done plunty of grunt work what ever is needed around the shop.Only thing i stay away from is Wiring.
Any experience at moderating:
Im a mod on hondastreetculture
The main job of a moderator is:
Keep everything running as smooth as possible, moving threads to the correct section, making sure Users are following the forum rules & regulations.
Also seems like all anyone does on the site is talk to eachother if this is gonna happen it need to be threw pm's "dont see much of mods trying to inforce this."
Why should you become a moderator:
Iv been a member for a good amount of time, im a reputable user in every aspect,I work long nights so im always just going threw threads late night. "catch alot of grave diggers & stuff like that"
Users who do not like me:
umm non that im aware of.
Closing statement:
If i do get voted on ill stick to my word & try to make TR a better invironment for everyone.
thanks James

You do a good job of reporting posts. What I would like to know is:
How you would handle situations we have in Pit Road?
Are you willing to take the time to change titles to assist in keeping the FS forums clean as well as enforcing the rules?
If some cannot post pictures of the items they are selling, are you willing to be understanding of that?
We have a good staff who works together as a team. How do you see yourself working with the current team?

honestly some times pit road gets really out of hand & the only way to deal with it is to just slow everyone down & just close the problem thread, but im on pit road alot usually there are no true problems just people who take things a little to serious.
I am probably one of the few members who isn't a mod that goes threw & reports old threads that are dug up, sends people the links to the rules, warns them of the rules etc...& i can't think of any staff member that i have a problem with or one that has a problem with me...so working with the current Mod team should be no problem.

as far as the picture thing goes...how i feel about that is if they don't post a picture its only hurting their sale not mine.
If they don't post a picture cause they do not know how or something along those lines i would be more than happy to help them.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then youll go faster period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster. the late Tom Thrash SCCA Solo E Production
