Pit Road Moderator App
TR Username: Projekt
Age: 21
Car: 07 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V
Any specific car knowledge: Some nissan 240 stuff, a little Sentra stuff.
Forums you would like to moderate: Pit Road
Any experience at moderating: I've moderated forums before
What do you think the main job of a moderator is: To make sure that if people are posting, it is at least of some decent quality, as well as to make sure that the forums run smoothly at all times. They also ensure that the forum remains a place where people contribute without being insulted and "trolled" for their beliefs and opinions.
Why should you become a moderator: I have been on this site for a while. I won't say a long time because I know plenty of members that have been here longer. I don't even live in Tampa yet I continue to come to this site. I spend a good majority of my time in Pit Road, and it used to be a really enjoyable forum to hang out and post in. Lately it seems like it has gone downhill and I think I can help to clean it up and return it to it's former glory. I have always posted to keep Pit Road a forum on this site. I know what would happen if it continues to turn into what it is and I don't want that to happen.
List users who do not like you: Probably civic_loner, simply because I continue to try to persuade him/her to either become a smarter poster or to stop posting. I know this isn't exactly what a moderator should be doing, but someone has to say something to get this person to help contribute to the forum.

I'm not telling anyone what the requirements are to be a moderator.......
Somethings that are *not* on the list are:
1. Applying for moderator to "get" someone that an applicant has
already expressed hostility towards.
2. Exagerations such as "half a forum" and "all" when it's easy to count
how many posters disagree with any other poster. It's called a forum
because people have the opportunity to express oposing points of view.
3. Labelling something as "bs" because a person disagrees with it. Each
member of TR is free to express his disagreement with some supporting
facts as to why he thinks differently.
An explanation.........
Generally threads are locked because some posters try to insult other members
and pick fights with other posters instead of supporting their oposing opinion
with facts. When a person stays within discussion guidelines the thread is less likely
to be locked.
You can do what you choose. You can blame who you choose. Thanks for listening.-Bob
senor hondaI'm going to continue to post about this until it gets fixed. Here's a link to the original thread with some examples of the problem. http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/ge...44-admins.html
senor honda has been trolling this forum for too long and I'm sick of seeing his bullshit spread through GCC. Half the forum hates his posting, and they all point it out everytime he posts in the wrong section.
You can keep locking my threads, but I'm going to continue to spread this until he stops or you do something to stop him. He constantly breaks rules and you guys ignore it.---- on-site *Aftermarket* spring/suspension installations --- on-site impact wrenching---street lowering with your own stock springs...........
Much more at Bob's Garage!
