What is wrong with the search function

Everytime i try to search for something it seems that info within the last year or so is not coming up right in the results.

For instance, search "altima" in the car sale forums. It misses tons of posts with the word altima in it/in title but its shows me results from 04-06 fine.

What happened?

Which search function, the Google one at the top middle, or the integrated search function ?

integrated search

an example would be to go into the for sale forum, and look at a few titles

lets say you see 4 integra posts, search integra

you wont see all the results in the search you saw before.

its weird.

yeah probably means we need to rebuild indexes, which isnt gonna happen until the weekend when we have some quiet time... i'll look into it though.
