Yeah but technically commercial use is reselling it, which we wouldn't be, it would not be for a profit either. I think their main thing is if you use it to make money. We would have to ask before it was done tho.

Yeah, those guys have been around a while and aren't stupid. They know people post up accounts on the internet and have ways of knowing (like tracking ISP and IP sources).

Just to let some of you guys know, Carfax will definitely find out if you post these types of things in a public forum. I had gotten a carfax account, and started running auto checks for members on GCC

Then car fax canceled my account because I was "distributing" it for a profit even though I wasn't selling it. The whole "unlimited" thing is bullshit. It's supposed to be limited for your own uses only, and I'm sure if you pull enough on your own, they will probably still cancel your acct for shits/giggles.

I had an email war with them a while back about this, b/c if they are stating it's unlimited, then it should be unlimited for all. Heck I wouldn't even mind paying a $10 monthly reoccurring fee, but for gawds sake, let us use it as we wish, as long as were not selling it to other people. But I guess they have no way of knowing whether or not your actually selling the reports.

I think if TR goes along with this, it would have to be kept under wraps in the champaign room. That way it remains private and not just anyone can see whats going on, so you wont get caught, and people pay a membership to get access.
