[h=1]Concealed Carrying Air Force Reservist Stops Knife Attack[/h] By John Falkenberg

In an amazing moment of concealed carry in action, a serviceman in the United States Air Force prevented a man from committing murder with a knife on the street in Austin, Arkansas.


KATV reported that Lt. Brandon Teel was driving home Monday evening when he discovered two grown men brawling in the street. Upon further examination, he noticed that one of the men was stabbing the other repeatedly.
Unfortunately for the attacker, Brandon Teel is a concealed carrier.

Teel exited his vehicle, drew his firearm, and held the would-be murderer at gunpoint until police arrived whom he called with his free hand, American Military News reported.
“I quickly pulled out my concealed weapon, drew it on him and I said, ‘Stop what your doing, get down on the ground or I’m going to shoot you,” he told KATV.


Not only did Teel save a life, but he did so without shedding a drop of blood, because he did not need to. He is the walking definition of a responsible concealed carrier.

The victim, 47-year-old Darren Terry, was taken to the hospital after being found to have suffered three lacerations, according to KATV.
Surprisingly enough, the assailant turned out to be his brother, 30-year-old Chris Terry, who was arrested for first degree domestic battery.


The Austin police chief had nothing bad to say about Teel and his actions.
“Lt. Teel is a perfect example of a responsible concealed carry permit holder,” Chief Bill Duerson told KATV. “He acted heroically in the face of extreme danger and avoided a tragedy.”
