Just wondering what the content is in these oils, alot of us older flat tappet engines are getting our asses kicked by newer oils with less ZDDP and other boundary lubrication additives.

All Re-Refined Products have to meet API standards to be sold as "motor oil" as for the content of particular additives that's a question for the manufacturers.

If Ultimate anti wear is your concern I'd go with the Military Spec "america's choice" all of the re-refined oils I use are from saftey kleen. with "ecopower" being their mass market version and the others a bit harder to come by.

That is interesting, I might have to take you up on that. I've been eyeballing the Amsoil Heavy Duty Diesel oil, but I'm always down to cut down on my footprint.

Figure the oil has to be as good as that kendall crap most shops use, right?

most shops that use bulk oil , use re refined oil . Nothing new , go to DeLorenzo Tire and that same oil change is $8.00 plus tax

I just saw this or I wouldve said something earlier. Thread jacking? Why , because Im telling people where they can get that same oil change for 8 bux? if I'm paying $20. for an oil change it better not be with re-refined oil
