Saw this on trucks today on spike
Curious if anyone here had done such a conversion. They converted a F150 to run on LP. Seeing how Ethanol isn't abundant here this seems like a cool conversion.
They used this kit ROUSH Propane F-150 Kit
Thoughts?

LP burns cleaner and somewhat more efficiently, that's about all I know. Not sure how much benefit there is to it, really. I think it's better for fleets that can buy LP in bulk, have their own fueling stations, and probably get local or federal tax breaks for being "green".

I know there are buses running around on it. If it is close to the same HP/TQ it would be hands down choice for me.

hp is a little less but its not terrable i guess about 80% ish
i bet you could use a small jet and solonid and a master switch and plumb propane in thru a nos injector and use it like cruse control and just use it on say interstate or long hwys
hopefully the o2 will see the fuel and slow the gas i guess you could always turn off the fuel pump
but for full conversion look to the internet or salavage yard for the bulky parts and buy the regulator and important stuff new

Roush actually sells the truck converted and it has the full Ford warranty with it.
