    Welcome

    With gas over $4 a gallon and it predicted to hit $5 a gallon in 2009 I thought we could use a forum to talk about Green Auto Tech.

    Things like Hybrids, techniques for getting better MPG (Hypermiling), gas prices themselves, electric vehicles, global warming and anything else you guys think fits into the category of Green Motoring.

    I think striving to get the most fuel economy out of a car is akin to striving to get the most power out of the car, and both are worthy undertakings, even if they are at opposite ends of the scale.

    I'll be moving any discussions I notice on the forum that fit into this category in here, and looking for a suitable moderator to keep things on track and add interesting articles they find. if your into hybrids, electrics or green motoring and think you can do it drop me a PM. Looking for someone with an avid interest and some knowledge of this area.

    Of course you know I am interested in this segment. Things like the Tesla, the next generation Prius, and the VOLT are going to change the public opinion of EV's and Hybrids.

    It is sad the EV1 is gone, and I highly reccomend "Who killed the electric car" documentary to anybody seriously interested in EV's.

    Id be willing to help although I would recomend having a 2nd mod just because im not able to get on most of the day.. This forum deffinatly has my interest though
