Need GM 10 Bolt (7.5) Rear End rebuilt... any recomendations?

What's up gang? I got a 91 Firebird and the rear end is not as quiet as it should be... recently rebuilt (less than 200 miles)... any shops / people you guys recommend?

I see that Alan Gearworks was once a good place, but it seems Alan has left and now I see a lot of complaints... Only other source I've found is a guy named Richard on craigslist....

Any help would be appreciated... thanks,

I would check some of the drag racing speed shops and ask their advice.
Maybe Automotive engineering.....there's another shop on Florida Avenue in Tampa....not recalling the name.....
Some drag rear ends have to be set up precisely to stay in a straight line.
They should know which places will do a good job.

Second choice would be the stock car shops. Dave Pletcher in St Pete? Did I get that right?

We both agree that 200 miles on a rebuild is not right for a street car.

Thanks... I'll be calling places the next 2 weeks and deciding... spent most of this week / weekend making the $$$ to pay for it

Automotive Engineering, the number I tried was disconnected. The Richard guy on Craigslist will not reply to emails and his phone can not take messages. Not promising on either front. Could not find a Dave Pletcher... Checking out Jim Hobson on Seminole...

I think it is Dave Pletcher Racing. One of his cars is hanging from the ceiling in QSL.

Automotive Engineering in some places is going by the name "Gearhead"
727-531-3551 13500 US Highway 19 North Clearwater FL, 33764 is what I just found.
I tried it (at 2AM lol) and got a recording that sounds like they are in business........

What number did you try for Dave Pletcher?
