Arrow s10 2wd to 4wd conversion

wondering if it can be done. i have a 99 blazer 4wd w a bad 4.3 in it and body damage. i also have a 2001 s10 2wd w/ a 4.3 in it. from what i know the frames are pretty much the same. so would it be possible to convert my s10 w/ all the parts from the blazer? the s10 is a long bed btw, if it matters

What you know is wrong, the frame is different.

You *might* be able to put the S10 body on the blazer frame. Look up the wheelbase on the blazer and the S10 whether it be reg cab or ext cab.

I'm quite certain the frames are actually a different width, thus them not being the same.

From the research I did when i was considering building an AWD S10, everything basically said start with a 4x4 frame, attempting to convert a 2wd one was a bad idea.

ok, well what would i have to do to convert it? ive seen some w/ leaf springs on the front and straight axles. it looks like i can at least bolt the tranny, X-case, and 4wd rear driveshaft up, the rest is fabbing. this is what im after:
