Clipper Sportster

A rare car, with only a hand full still existing today. The original list price was $2,795 and only 3,671 were built. With a 122"wheelbase, this grand automobile has a 288 cubic inch "Straight 8" engine with 150 horsepower. It weighs 3,720 pounds, and drives from 0 to 60 mph in 17.6 seconds, with a turning circle of 41 feet. In

1953 Packard pioneered the first reverse rear window in automotive history, as seen in this Clipper Sportster. This car is restored as original, with the matching motor #L217390 to chassis #26973455. You don't see this gorgeous 2 door often.

April 22 so that we can beat the heat. This event grows each year because it is so unique, laid back, and just plain fun. Your entrance fee is to bring a food to share that represents your family heritage . Last year we had foods from 17 countries, including Germany, Ireland, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Syria, Israel, Poland, Canada, Argentina, Vietnam, Sweden, Greece, and of course Brando's South Africa.
