"It is with sorrow that I send this message to inform everyone, that one of the kindest and most loving persons I know has gone to heaven to be with her Lord. Janice passed to the other side yesterday Aug 23 about 4:30pm. The final arrangements have been made and they are as follows.Dobies Funeral Home 6616 Congress St.New Port Richey, Fl. 34653. Viewing will be Friday Aug 28- 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. On Saturday Aug 29 there will be a Classic car procession leaving from the Funeral Home at 11:30 am sharp, past there house and past the beach she loved, to Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church. A Mass will be at 1pm at Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church, 5540 High St, New Port Richey, FL 34652.

Jan requested one more show to benefit the Domestic Violence house, so her kids as she called them would have Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will be putting together a show for sometime in November. Keep an eye out for the details as soon as we can get it together.

Janice was a light in a dark world. She touched the lives of all who knew her, and through her charitable giving--she touched the lives of those she had never met. Her generous spirit and love of car shows led her continuously give to others through such organizations as; The American Cancer Society and Domestic Violence House.

As most of you may already know, we have lost our lovely Jan on Sunday August 23rd 2015.
Eric and Deon who began this website and have managed it ever since, would like to share a few things with all who knew her.
Jan was a very selfless person who dedicated herself to the benefit of others. Over the many years that she ran what were consistently the best car shows around, she has been extremely inspirational to so many people for many reasons. She raised a lot of money for both cancer research and for the safe houses of abused and battered women and children. Helping others in need was her biggest motivation. She faced many obstacles along the way, from others who would try to steal her shows or sabotage them, to people who would gossip in order to try to fulfill their own ill willed agendas to having multiple battles with illness and never did she waiver, never did she stoop to someone else’s level, and always she fought the good fight. Jan always told it like it was and did not mince words. She was a tough cookie with the biggest heart this side of the Mississippi.

Speaking from experience, Jan and Ray are some of the best people we have ever known and they have truly been great friends. We are all well aware of how entertaining, outgoing and positive she was in nature. None of us who knew her will ever have to wonder if she is in a better place doing bigger and better things, and she is probably watching down on each and every one of us somehow helping all of us with one thing or another because that's just Jan. We ask each and every one of you whether you believe in prayer or not, to say a prayer for Jan and to thank her for all she has done for all of us. We all know that without her we would not have been able to have anywhere near the outlet for our classic car hobby that we have had, and we have all had enough experience with the car shows of others to know why that is true.

Without the efforts of Jan, Ray and everyone who helped to put these shows on, we would not have had the opportunity to make so many good friends and to have the great times we did with our cars and each other. So please, whenever you are at any car show in the future, take a moment to say hi and remember our great friend and take comfort in knowing that if anybody is up there watching out for us, if anybody is up there doing wonderful things, it's our dear Jan. Jan we all love you and will sincerely miss you and we will never ever forget you and all the beautiful things you have done whilst on this earth and each and every one of us know deep in our hearts that you are still doing wonderful things because that is who you are. Our heartfelt best to Ray and all who take the time to read this, Deon and Eric

A bit about the shows.......
ENTERTAINMENT, MUSIC, DOOR PRIZES, PLAQUES, TROPHIES, CASH DRAWINGS AND 50-50 RAFFLES.
OUR SHOWS/CRUISE INS ARE HELD WEEKLY EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT WITH MANY OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS. DUE TO THE SUMMER HEAT, THERE ARE NO WEEKLY CRUISE-INS DURING THE MONTH OF JULY.

TUESDAY: 5:30PM - 8:30PM AT PRIME TIME RESTAURANT OF PORT RICHEY. LOCATED ON US. 19 ACROSS FROM DUNKIN DOUGHNUTS. WE HAVE 2 PLAQUES WEEKLY, MANAGER'S CHOICE, AND ON THE FIRST TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH WE HAVE ADDITIONAL PLAQUES OR TROPHIES. EVERY WEEK THE RESTAURANT GIVES A 20% DISCOUNT TO CAR FOLKS.
AT EACH OF OUR SHOWS WE WILL HAVE FLYERS AND ANY INFORMATION CONCERNING OTHER CAR SHOWS AND/OR OUR SPECIAL EVENTS.

WE RUN AN OPEN AND FRIENDLY SHOW NOT A CLIQUE. ALL CARS AND NICE PEOPLE ARE WELCOME. WE MAKE NO PROFIT, ALL OF THE PROCEEDS AND FUNDS RAISED AT OUR EVENTS GO YEAR ROUND DIRECTLY TO THE WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S ABUSE CENTER SAFE HOUSE.
