^ he meant that the route for the event is just a ring that strictly highway...you should make some checlpoints that are off the highway so that it changes the scenery and adds a little more challenge

Depending on how they time it.....
I have seen some rallys where it was hard to maintain the posted speed
limit without breaking the speed limits.

Drive from Tampa to Orlando at the posted speed
and time yourself for the miles driven. You will not have driven the speed limit.
it will always be under the limit. Examples available on demand.

Would you tell me about the math calculations that Vivek did?-Bob

Timing - it makes you drive smarter. When we did Treekillers rally Vivek's math calculations were a big part of our win that day. It makes it more challenging as well.

I'm hoping for not all highways. Country roads make for a more interesting drive.

Basically I gave him the mileage to the next point, he looked at his odometer trip counter, the speed limit sign, then figured out the lowest time to get to the next point by calculating the speed he needed to go without gaining a ticket and as long as I could find the marker for the next turn which was given with signs, i.e. 2 men in a boat which was a billboard on the side of the road.

if you can only race me in a straight line then whats the point ...91 SMF SCCA

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Y'all guys are awesome! That is some great information, and the event is about you the "driver" and this will make history. I am getting a hold of diffrent maps to included some nice roads. One thing I can not stand is pot holes so I am making sure we stay away from old western wild west roads.

I think a major part is decorating your car. I cannot wait to see the ideas, as long as you are having fun and can make someone smile, laugh, or take a picture of your design than its perfect.

That would be fun. Do it!

A friend and I did the Super Street Tour from Miami to Nopi Nationals one year. Scheduled stops for lunch/pick up others and a stay over & party in Daytona one night. It was a blast!
