Anything going on in Sarasota?

I have recently moved here from Tampa. And am yet to find anything going on here.....I go cruising every night....and haven't found any meets, get together, hang-out spots. I got nothing. Any one know of where the meets are in Sarasota? If anyone can inform me and my Supra of a spot or two, please PM me for my phone number. Thanks guys.

Saturday nights @ Hooters Sarasota (southeast corner of US41 and Stickney Point), starting 8:30-ish to whenever. This is a different meet than the euro meet that occurs @ 8pm at the Best Buy on University in Sarasota.

Finding a Meet....a Couple Ways

Sometimes people ask in Local Events, or when we are talking at some of the meets which I go to: "Senor Honda, where is the location of a meet on a certain evening.?"
Example:
"Any frequent spots to meet up at on Fri/Sat night?

New to the area, been on here asking if there are any meets. Just looking to meet some people. Still don't know anybody who's into the car scene yet. But frequent weekend meeting spots would be helpful. Thanks."

One of my answers is:
There is something going on almost every night.
Keep checking the first two/three pages of local events.
Post on their thread asking if they are still meeting in that spot.
Few people are going to answer your question if you ask in Local
Events....local events is mostly for "posting" events instead of asking about them.

keep checking Local Events.

Check the Tech forums for various type cars.......
example: Brand X car guys will post a meet in their Brand X tech forum.
If you are a respectful person, they might not mind you hanging out with them.

I go to a lot of meets where I don't have that type car, but people who are friends
have that type car, and I go to hang out with my friends....the type car is irrelevant.
Real car guys don't care what you drive. The friendship, and being around other car
guys is what counts.-Bob
