congratulations to them for producing a car for the smallest percentage of buyers, most of which cannot afford this, or can afford a better car.
pretty damn cool looking though.

it doesnt really matter what percentage of buyers buys it imo. the smaller the better! i dont want a bunch of fuckin goons driving racecars around thinking they are hot shit and killing people and destroying amazing machines. best of left for people who will use it for its purpose. to race on a circuit.

I am not 100% sure if it is but it does have all the things a car needs to be legal. working lights, wipers, turn signals, etc. even a place to bolt up a license plate. I dont see why it cant be legal if people drive around gutted race cars and tubbed out chevelles on the street with 900hp ya know? Plus nissan is supposed to be selling this at dealerships. Does that mean you have to trailer it home when you buy it? that would be gay haha

im sure it will be street legal as well....... makes no sense to make a production vehicle limited to the track UNLESS they are a sanctioned event specific race event and then it would mean only a handful would be made.
I remember when the Cobra R Mustang came out and they said it was track ready and that you needed to go through a complete training before purchase..... but then you see them on the street..

Of course it is NOT street legal. No airbags, no 3-point seat belts, detachable steering wheel, full cage, the motor hasn't been emissions certified, the car hasn't been crash tested and the exhaust won't pass sound testing. Manufacturers are not allowed to sell race cars for street use. The government has unbelievable restrictions on cars. Most of you would not believe how much government bullshit an auto manufacturer has to go through to put a car on the road. It probably doesn't even have a VIN.

Lined up? no. One in a show room that you cant buy for order only, yes. and hey chuck.. there are a TON of cars on the road without airbags, man. and it had a 5 point seat belt... it would probably fair better in an accident over the normal street car also.
