Anyone here a GM tech?
I'm looking for someone with specialized knowledge of the Ecotec engine. Someone that's been inside them and will know what I'm talking about, not someone who put bright wire loom in the engine compartment of their Cobalt who now knows everything about these motors.
If you can help, please PM me! I'm really in a bind.

I don't think you're going to find any GM ecotec "specialists" ere. Try the GM Sub Forum or better yet the yella pages.

Lots of people including myself have been working on cars for 10, 15, 20+ years. I've also worked at my cousins auto shop. I've dealt with several makes and models. 50% of the people on this site have probably done the same as I. It doesn't hurt to ask in here. If he is suspicious about an answer he can always google it up and see if it might be the correct solution or the wrong solution. This is a Website that deals with Automobiles and there are enough qualified people here that could lend a helping hand.
